Samhain Festival-FAMILY DISCOUNT
Samhain Festival-FAMILY DISCOUNT
FAMILY DISCOUNT $40/COUPLE (children under 17 free)
This is an outdoor festival unlike any other. The fee includes family-friendly craft tables to make masks, wands, crowns, and spirit corn dolls, a lively parade, crystal bowl sound healing, and an ancestor altar, with an optional fire ritual and live music. Guests also have the option to celebrate their creations by participating in our parade. There will also be a dynamic performance where witches dance and create a magical experience where nature spirits come alive to share their unique perspectives.
Tarot card readings, food, and drink are sold separately.
Here's some additional information about the event.
CHILDREN 17 and under ARE FREE
ADDITIONAL FESTIVAL COSTS: Food and drink; Tarot Card Readings
PARKING: is FREE. Handicap parking is available in a different area from our general parking area. The terrain is bumpy due to lawn, stone, and woodchip paths. We will do our very best to ensure your comfort and accessibility to all offerings. Call us (860.942.9046) to refine plans to accommodate your needs.
FESTIVAL GROUNDS: This is an outdoor event, which means you’ll likely encounter bees and other insects, varying temperatures, and possibly light rain. The grounds are uneven, and there are some areas with steep slopes or stone stairs. Wear appropriate fall-weather clothes, and please wear sturdy footwear to help you navigate our grounds safely.
INCREMENT WEATHER & REFUNDS: We do not offer refunds, including for closures due to weather, acts of God, or other reasons beyond our control. However, we will apply your ticket purchase to any of our future classes and workshops.
In case of snow or rain, we will postpone our event to Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the same time. Check our Facebook page and/or our phone (860 942-9046) for the latest information.
COSTUMES: Guests are welcome to wear family-friendly costumes to participate in the Samhain/Halloween fun and to join our Samhain Council Parade!
ANCESTOR ALTAR: Similar to an Ofrenda, our ancestor altar provides a place to honor your ancestors and the recently deceased. Feel free to bring a scarf to be tied and left at our prayer space (a limited number of additional scarves will be available) or bring a photo to place on the altar while you attend the festival.
