Your Journey begins NOW!
WELCOME
Mindfulness is a transformative practice that can bring peace, clarity, and balance to your busy life. As we navigate through this course together, we will explore various techniques and tools to cultivate mindfulness in your daily life.
We may not be able to control what’s going on around us, but we can meet life’s stressors more effectively.
By dedicating time for self-reflection and being present in the moment, you can enhance your overall well-being and create a deeper connection with yourself and the world around you.
Remember, this journey is yours to embrace, and I am here to support and guide you every step of the way.
To help you get started I’ve prepared this page as a GUIDE to begin your journey.
Below are two WELCOME VIDEOS! The first is a welcome message and a tour of this learning space. The second video was created by my teachers at UMASS Center for Mindfulness Mindfulness called, Being Fully Awake in Our Own Lives

For the sake of continuity, we strongly recommend that you attend all the classes. Benefits from this program will require a strong commitment on your part to attend all classes and to practice a daily discipline of meditation and other mindfulness practices over the eight weeks.
LOCATION OF CLASS: Day Kimball Hospital 320 Pomfret Street, Putnam, CT RHF#2-3 Conference Rooms
YOGA This program provides opportunities to experience yoga as a contemplative practice. Using gentle movement, restorative postures, breathwork and other techniques you will be able to discover how yoga can support you with self care and self discovery. No prior experience is needed.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY On rare occasions, for the safety of our participants and instructor, we may cancel a class due to inclement weather. The decision will be made no earlier than 3 PM. PLEASE CALL 860-942-9046 for information on cancellation. There will be a recorded announcement on the voice mail or Robin will take your call directly.
If there is a cancellation, additional classes may be scheduled for the two weeks following the expected end of the program. Please hold these dates in your calendar.
